Coronavirus (Covid-19)
Will the team be wearing PPE during my visit?
How will you be managing social distancing?
To keep our guests and team safe, there’s a one-way route for guests, fewer people for more space, and signs throughout the rainforest to keep guests a safe distance apart at all times. We've set up hand sanitiser stations and we're only taking contactless payments. We’ll also be on the ball with extra cleaning – keeping hands and surfaces washed and washed again, and freshly scrubbing clubs and balls for every golfer.
It's masks on to come in and we’ve also put rainforest parties and events on hold for now.
How will you be limiting large gatherings?
We'll have a Treetop host waiting at the entrance to welcome you. They’ll make sure there’s only a limited number of people in the rainforest at any one time.
Will I need to book online?
Nope, just turn up and tee off. If it’s a busy time, you may need to queue while our Treetop Host makes sure there aren’t too many people in the rainforest. But they’ll let you know if you need to wait.
Will your opening hours change?
Yes. We'll be open;
Mon - Wed: 11am until 9pm
Thurs & Fri: 11am until 10pm
Sat: 10am until 10pm
Sun: 10am until 9pm
Last entry time is 8:45pm to play 1 course and 8pm for 2 courses.
Our family/group is more than four people. Will we be able to play?
Yes! We’ll just ask you to split into teams of four or less, and play the course one after the other.
Will you be taking cash payments?
Not right now. To help keep our guests and team safe, we’ll only be taking contactless payments.
Can I book a party or event yet?
What if I want to book a party later in the year?
We will be keeping a close eye on the latest government guidance around gatherings and social distancing and as soon as it is safe to do so, we will let you know. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear the news.
Will you still be offering the Early Bird?
Yes we will. Our Early Bird will be available Monday-Friday but not during school holidays.
Will I need to wear a face covering before visiting?
Following recent Government announcements, from Friday 7th August it is a legal requirement for members of the public to wear face coverings in an expanded group of areas, including indoor entertainment venues like Treetop.
Guests aged 11 or over must wear them before entering site, when walking around site and when playing mini golf, however you are not required to wear them if seated in The Market area (i.e. eating or drinking).
If you're exempt from wearing a mask, please let a member of our team know.
I had a gift card that expired. What should I do?
Keep it and bring it with you. We will honour all gift cards which expired during our temporary closure.
Will I need to book a table to play mini golf?
Do I need to scan the NHS Test and Trace QR Code to visit Treetop?
The health & wellbeing of our team & guests comes first. It's a mandatory requirement for guests visiting hospitality venues, such as Treetop, to provide their contact details. If you're unable to use the QR code, we'll ask the lead person in your group to give their contact details to our team at reception. You'll be unable to play mini golf or remain on site without doing so.
Does every guest within my group need to scan the NHS QR Code or leave their contact details?
Are there any guests or visitors who are exempt from scanning the NHS QR code?
The following are exempt from needing to scan the NHS QR code;
- Police Officers or Emergency Responders on duty
- Anyone making a delivery or collection
- Anyone who does not have the mental capacity to do so
Will you be offering food and drink when you reopen?
Pizza Cabana is open every day, from 11am to 9pm on weekdays and from 10am on the weekend.
The Thirsty Toucan bar will be temporarily hibernating in line
with government guidelines. The Rainforest
Roast Café will be open all week, serving up tropical mocktails, cracking coffee and
soft drinks.
We’ll be serving safely, with our team carefully following social distancing
guidelines. We’ll only be taking orders from tables, which are spaced a safe
distance apart. Our menus and condiments are available when guests ask us for
them.
Last orders from the Rainforest Roast Café will be 9pm from Sunday to Wednesday and
at 9.30pm from Thursday to Saturday.
We’ll
reopen The Thirsty Toucan bar as soon as the time is right.
How will you be protecting your team members?
All the changes we’re making in our jungle are to keep our team safe as well as our guests, from hand sanitiser stations and regular hand washing, to social distancing, Perspex screens at reception and making every payment contactless.
Our team will also be wearing face coverings as well as our guests. Behind our reception desk and bar, we also have floor markers to help team members keep their distance.
Why are you closed?
The
health and wellbeing of our guests and jungle team comes first. Following the
latest government announcement in response to the ongoing Coronavirus
situation, which confirmed England has imposed a national lockdown, we have
temporarily closed Treetop Manchester.
When will you reopen?
We’ll be paying close attention to new government announcements and guidelines, so we’ll be ready to reopen our rainforest as soon as the time is right. To be the first to hear from us, please sign up to our newsletter here. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the jungle again soon.
