Before I visit

Do I need to pre-book?

No booking required. Just turn up and tee off!

When can I visit?

We’re open Monday to Wednesday from 11am-10pm, Thursday and Friday from 11am-11pm, Saturday from 10am-11pm and Sunday from 10am-10pm. Our opening times may vary during school holidays and on public holidays. We’ll show any time changes on our website and on social media nearer the dates.

Who can play mini-golf?

Anyone can play on our mini-golf courses. We pride ourselves on having something for everyone, whatever your age or ability.

What’s the minimum age to play?

There’s no minimum age but children under the age of 12 need to be supervised by an adult at all times.

How much will it cost me?

Check the full price list on the 'Our Courses' section of the website. 

Will someone explain the rules before we tee off?

When you arrive, one of our friendly team can run you through the playing rules – and you’ll also find them on your scorecard. After that you’ll be ready to roll. Our team will be on-hand, wherever you are in the rainforest.

How many mini-golf courses do you have?

We’ve got two exciting 18-hole courses – Ancient Explorer and Tropical Trail.

Can I choose which course to play?

Yes. But if you choose to play two courses you get to play both. 

How long will the game last?

Generally, people take approximately 35-45 mins per course but at busier times, it may take longer.

Will I need to finish the course within a certain amount of time?

No, you’re welcome to stay as long as you want. But remember to stick to the maximum of six shots per hole rule and consider other golfers behind you.

What's the latest I can swing by for a game?

If you plan to visit late in the day, you can turn up and tee off 15mins before close for 18 holes, or 45mins before we close for 36 holes. That way you’ll have enough time to play. Last order at the bar are 10pm from Sunday to Wednesday and at 10.30pm from Thursday to Saturday.  

Can we bring our own drinks and food to the venue?

We’ve got The Clubhouse so you won’t be allowed to bring outside food and drink into the rainforest, unless specific permission is granted by the manager. Head to The Clubhouse and try some of our tasty snacks and drinks. We also offer beers, spirits and our signature jungle cocktails for the adults.

Is Treetop Adventure Golf wheelchair and pram-friendly?

Yes. Both mini-golf courses and The Clubhouse are wheelchair and pram friendly, so everyone can enjoy a game of mini golf.

Where is Treetop Adventure Golf?

We’re up on level P3 of St David’s 2 Dewi Sant, Cardiff, CF10 2EL. Take the lift lobbies on ground floor (by Costa Coffee) or on level 1 (opposite the Apple Store).  Or just follow Simi the monkey’s footprints across level P3 of the car park.

How can I get there?

If you’re coming by train, it’s a ten-minute walk from Cardiff Central. Or just five minutes from Queen Street station.

If you’re driving, put the postcode ‘CF10 2EQ’ into your satnav or follow signs for St David’s car park. Get to the car park from Mary Ann Street.

Is there a limit on team size?

We ask that you play in teams of up to 4 people. If you visit with a large group, each team will follow consecutively around the course in your smaller teams.

Clubhouse Bar & Café

What healthy eating or special dietary requirement options do you serve?

We offer delicious nut-free chocolate brownies, fresh juices, bananas feel-good juices and diet drinks. Full allergen is available, please ask our team at the bar. 

Can I warm up baby food or drink?

We can provide you with hot water to enable you to warm through any baby food or drink. 

Do you serve hot food?

Yes, Pizza Pronto have recently opened in our Clubhouse, serving fresh, handmade pizza every day. 

Can I get Pizza Pronto to takeaway?

If you'd like to purchase Pizza Pronto for takeaway, please let our team know at the till. Otherwise, you are welcome to enjoy it in our Clubhouse, whether you play a round of mini golf or not! 

On-site facilities

Is there free car parking?

No, we don’t offer free car parking.

Is there a public car park?

Yes, you can park in St David’s. It’s got capacity for 2000 cars.

Is there free wifi?

Yes, just ask one of our team for the password.

Do you have high chairs?

Yes, we can supply highchairs.

Do you have a crèche?

No, we don’t offer any crèche facilities. 

Is there somewhere to store my personal belongings?

Yes, if you bring a £1 coin, you can use a locker. Please note, we can’t accept liability for any items lost or damaged while they’re in our care. We recommend you leave your valuables at home.

Is there a disabled toilet and baby changing area?

Yes, you can find our disabled toilet and baby changing area next-door to our reception.

Can I charge a mobility scooter or my mobile in your venue?

Yes, you’ll find electrical points in The Clubhouse. But we don’t supply any chargers, so remember to bring your own.

Can I get any deals?

We offer an early bird every day of the week. If you tee off before midday, you can play two courses for the price of one. Our Evening Eagle also gives you two courses for the price of one, Mon-Fri 5-7pm.
(Please be aware, these are not available on bank holidays. Both courses must be played simultaneously.)

Do you offer group discounts?

We offer a 10% discount for 15+ people

Are there any family offers?

Yes, we offer:
18 holes for a family of four* for £26.50 and it’s £32 for a family of five*
36 holes for a family of four* is £39 and for a family of five* it’s £46.50.

*Each family must have one adult and one child 12 years or under.

Who’s Simi?

Simi is our cheeky monkey mascot. He’s a cheery character who loves to be centre of attention. You will often find him out and about during our Treetop events.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, you can pop in any time to buy a mini-golf gift for 18 or 36 holes. They come with a 12 month expiry.
