How will you be managing social distancing when you reopen?
To keep our guests and team safe, there’ll be a one-way route for guests, fewer people for more space, and signs throughout the rainforest to keep guests a safe distance apart at all times. We've set up hand sanitiser stations, too, and we're only taking contactless payments. We’ll also be on the ball with extra cleaning – keeping hands and surfaces washed and washed again, and freshly scrubbing clubs and balls for every golfer.
We’ve also put rainforest parties and events on hold for now.
How will you be limiting large gatherings when you reopen?
We’ll have a Treetop Host waiting at the entrance to welcome you. They’ll make sure there’s only a limited number of people in the rainforest at any one time.
Will we need to book online?
Nope, just turn up and tee off. If it’s a busy time, you may need to queue while our Treetop Host makes sure there aren’t too many people in the rainforest. But they’ll let you know if you need to wait.
Will your opening hours change?
Yes. For now, we'll be opening from 10am every day and closing 9pm Sun-Wed and 10pm Thurs-Sat.
Our family/group is more than four people. Will we be able to play?
Yes! We’ll just ask you to split into teams of four or less, and play the course one after the other
Why are you closed?
Following the government’s announcement on March 17th about limiting social contact to help fight COVID-19, we felt temporarily closing was the right thing to do. The health and wellbeing of our guests and jungle team always comes first.
When are you reopening?
We will be reopening at 10am on Friday 14th August.
Will you be taking cash payments?
Not right now. To help keep our guests and team safe, we’re only taking contactless payments.
How will you be protecting your team members when you reopen?
All of the changes we’re making in our jungle are to keep our team safe as well as our guests, from hand sanitiser stations and regular hand washing, to social distancing, Perspex screens at reception and making every payment contactless. Behind our reception desk and bar, we'll also have floor markers to help team members keep their distance.
Will I be able to book a party when you reopen?
Not yet. We’re paying close attention to government announcements and updates, and while social distancing is still advised, we don’t feel it would be right to host events in our jungle.
What do I do if I have a party booking coming up?
We’re emailing everyone who’s booked an event with us about their options, so please keep an eye on your inbox. Or you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our team will be in touch.
What if I want to book a party later in the year?
We will be keeping a close eye on the latest government guidance around gatherings and social distancing and as soon as it is safe to do so, we will let you know. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear the news.
Will you still be offering the Early Bird?
While the government continues to advise on social distancing, we feel temporarily stopping our Early Bird is the right thing to do. Alongside all of the changes we're making in our jungle to keep our team safe as well as our guests, it's important to us that we look after our guests queuing outside our jungle too. We appreciate this may disappoint some of our loyal guests, however, rest assured, they will both be back when the time is right to do so. To hear the news first, sign up to our newsletter
I had a gift card that expired. What should I do?
Keep it and bring it with you. We will honour all gift cards which expired during our temporary closure.
Will you be offering food and drink when you reopen?
Yes, Pizza Cabana, The Thirsty Toucan bar and Rainforest Roast Café will all be open, serving up freshly made pizza, tropical cocktails, great coffee, sweet treats and more.
We’ll be serving safely, with our team carefully following social distancing guidelines. We’ll only be taking orders from tables - which will be at least one metre apart. We’ll also have menus and condiments on hand at the request of guests.
Do I need to wear a face-covering or other PPE before visiting?
No. We’re making changes in our jungle to follow the latest social distancing guidelines to help keep you safe at all times. This gives you more time to focus on mini golf tactics!
Will the team be wearing PPE during my visit?
Although we’ve introduced some changes to our jungle to keep our team & guests safe, the Government guidance strongly advises against using extra PPE unless unable to complete social distancing.
We are confident the additional social distancing measures introduced ensure that our sites remain safe for everyone. If any of our team would prefer to wear PPE during their shift, we will support them in doing so.
